This level can also be a great starting point for older or newer dancers who are ready to explore more focused dance training in a supportive environment.

Our Intermediate Dance Program is designed for dancers who are ready to refine their technical and artistic development in a supportive, encouraging environment. Students build upon their existing foundations while developing strength, flexibility, musicality, and performance quality across a variety of dance styles.
As training becomes more advanced, dancers are encouraged to take greater ownership of their progress, embrace new challenges, and continue developing confidence and artistry.

What To Expect
Intermediate dancers are encouraged to challenge themselves while continuing to grow as confident, well-rounded artists. Classes emphasize technique, creativity, artistry, and performance quality while fostering discipline, perseverance, and teamwork.
This level prepares dancers for Advanced training and more intensive performance opportunities, while supporting each student's individual goals and growth.
Performance Opportunities
All Intermediate students have opportunities to perform throughout the year, including our annual Spring Performance.
Students enrolled in ballet classes also have the opportunity to participate in our annual Nutcracker production, with opportunities for featured and special roles.
Dancers looking for an additional challenge may also audition for the Performing Company, our competitive dance team. Company members train and perform together while developing technique, teamwork, confidence, commitment, and performance skills. An optional opportunity for dancers ready to take their training and performance experience a step further.
